It’s back!
After a hugely popular run in 2024, the CHH Championship returns for another epic showdown.
Players loved the format, the atmosphere, and the chance to compete in a true finals environment.

This is a 2-day knockout tournament with a 2-week qualifying round — your chance to battle it out with the best, reunite with fellow Heavy Hitters, and enjoy a weekend of serious tennis and great vibes.

It’s also a celebration — a chance for past, present and future CHH players to come together and watch the final on Sunday 14th September at 1pm.

🧨 Qualifying Round (Bottom 16 players)
📆 Thursday 28 August – Wednesday 10 September 2025
🔹 Players organise their own matches as per CHH R&Rs
🔹 Home players are randomised and provide balls/courts
🔹 8 winners advance to the Round of 16

🥎 Quarter Finals: Saturday 13 September – Not Before 1:00pm
🥉 Semi Finals: Sunday 14 September – 10:00am

🚫 No 3rd Place Match in 2025 — players weren’t up for it last year

✅ Entry Criteria

🔓 Open to players who’ve completed a CHH League in:
• 2024 Winter
• 2024 Spring
• 2025 Summer
• 2025 Autumn

📝 Players from 2025 Winter may apply, but will be given lower priority
📉 Max UTR at registration deadline: 9.0
🎯 Top 24 players by UTR are accepted
• Top 8 = automatic entry to main draw
• Bottom 16 = must play Qualifying Round

🧮 Match Format

🔸 Best of 2 tiebreak sets – normal scoring
🔸 Match Super Tiebreak (to 10, win by 2) if 1–1
❌ Does not count towards UTR
🧱 Single Elimination Draw – no back draw

⚠️ Player Recommendation

This event is recommended for Division 1 & Division 2 players only.
Division 3 players are welcome to apply — but be aware that your first-round opponent will likely be a top Division 1 or 2 player, and a walkover is the likely result.

PLAYERS CONTACT LIST DETAILS

Qualifying Round Players will be sent players contact list via WhatsApp group and email.

Players must check their contact details and email CHH if any changes are required otherwise no-contact forfeits may apply during the league.

COMMUNICATION - WHATSAPP

WhatsApp Message is the primary means of contacting your opponents so players can see when their opponent has read their message, however players can alternatively use SMS.

CHH uses WhatsApp for league management and communication. It's free to download and is encrypted/safe to use. Look it up and download in the AppStore or on Google Play. You can ‘mute notifications’ in WhatsApp for specific groups so use this feature if it help keep the notifications less distracting.

Players will be invited to the below groups before registration closes.

  • CHH Event Group (Compulsory):

    This Event Group is the primary way CHH will contact players with important updates during the league.

HOME PLAYER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The ‘home’ player must initiate contact the week before the scheduled match.

  • The ‘home’ player must supply new balls.

  • The ‘home’ player will arrange court bookings on a good quality surface and pay all fees (players can share lights fees)

  • The ‘home’ player must submit match results on the Challonge league site after their match.
